Self Love is Vital

Your birth date was a formula to memorize for many: your parents and siblings. It was cherished as one hell of a celebration. Why? It was because you were adorable as you were new. Your presence had touched lives of many in good ways. You were naïve then; you didn’t know about how to impress people, how to pretend at times, how to tell lies, how to fake smiles and compliments, how to adhere to any situation. As in all, you were illiterate to enter in the university called “Real World”. But still, your presence was cherished, you were pampered, you felt many gave a shit about your existence.

Time passed, the infant tone slowly upgraded to a hoarse/high pitch voice that was inaudible to many despite its loudness. Isn't it heart-scarring to realize with the increment in visibility through your height and weight, you lost actual value of yours. You were tall but no one noticed. You were hefty, no one cared to question you consciously about your obesity instead they mocked at you. You were all with smiles, yet you lacked happiness. You have all the gadgets that you have been desperately wishing for and all the knowledge on how to be expert at using it, yet you do not feel like using it. All these “buts” and “yets” have resulted in making your life miserable despite every resources.

This cryptic complication and dissatisfaction has resulted in increasing suicide number among youths, exponetializing cases of severe depression, chronic sadness, and what not. Why are we not able to embrace happiness despite availability of everything? The reason behind it is simple yet so complex: COMPARISION WITH OTHERS. The day we stop completely comparing ourselves or ours’ happiness with others, I bet the chronic sadness shall come to an end.

Have you ever studied or known about a life of slum. All they care about is living in the moment. They work for an entire day, get paid for it, buy food with it, and sleep. The same cycle repeats, boring right? No, you won’t find bit of sadness in them because all they care about is themselves. Others thoughts/comments regarding them does not bother them, AT ALL. It’s because they know that at the end you will only ne with yourself and no one else so why stress over others’ thought-process?  They are not bothered by the fact Bill Gates earns hugest amount of money, someone went to Mauritius for vacation, someone got promoted for their work, or whatsoever. All they think about is if next day I will work more/better than I did yesterday, I will have more income than what I had yesterday. The principle is simple and if followed by every frustrated soul, it works. Trust me, it does.

Life is too short to live sadly and with the void feeling. Let’s just self-compare and try to be better than our own previous forms. Let’s completely get committed to own-self that we can cherish entirely on others’ success instead of envying about it. Practice the good deeds of others but never ever get dissatisfied if you do not achieve the same mark with same effort invested when some XYZ surpasses it. Know this, you are worth the more. Be happy with whatever you have and ADORE YOURSELF. You should love and caress yourself at the first place because if your soul doesn’t admire you, no one else will.

STAY HAPPY!! STAY POSITIVE!! AND ADORE YOURSELF!!
